CHINESE GUERILLA, one of thousands fully prepared to pit weapons and skill against the Japanese invader. During their seven years' active resistance to the enemy, such fighters have rendered valuable assistance to the Allied cause. On November 23, 1944, Major-General Albert C. Wedemeyer, who succeeded General Stilwell as military adviser to Chiang Kai-shek, announced that the Generalissimo had accepted in principle a plan which he had submitted for the disposition of Chinese (Republic of China | Free China) forces.
