這一次待在台灣的時間較長，主要是進行了幾位老伯伯的訪問。他們各自與我們分享了戰時的回憶，獨特且鮮為人知，有半夜守衛古塔時發抖不已的機槍兵、有躲在槍林彈雨下的船艙裡想到母親叮嚀的醫護兵、有將大部錢財送給逃命同袍的藝術家軍人、也有雙手六隻手指因不眠不休裝填彈夾而不聽使喚的彈藥兵。
