【保修日誌】民國31年(1942) Ford GPW 1/4噸吉普車 — 不鏽鋼油箱升級工程

車輛背景與歷程： 本車為民國31年（1942）出廠之二戰經典福特 GPW 1/4噸吉普車。前次油箱更換作業追溯至民國100年（2011），係為配合當時《金剛演習》前夕之車輛大翻修所安裝的全新進口油箱。

維修原因： 該油箱服役至今已近14個年頭。經檢查發現，舊油箱內部鏽蝕狀況嚴重，鐵鏽剝落屢次造成供油管路堵塞，嚴重影響車輛運作可靠性。

解決方案與成果： 為求一勞永逸並提升耐用度，本次捨棄傳統鐵製油箱，改採「訂製不鏽鋼油箱」。工程於今日（114年12月7日）順利完工，徹底解決油路阻塞隱患，讓這台二戰老兵重獲順暢油路，相信這台 GPW 未來能陪我們走更長遠的路！

【Maintenance Record】1942 Ford GPW 1/4 Ton Jeep — Stainless Steel Fuel Tank Upgrade

Vehicle History & Background: This vehicle is a classic WWII 1942 Ford GPW 1/4 Ton Jeep. The previous fuel tank replacement dates back to 2011. At that time, a brand-new imported tank was installed as part of a major overhaul prior to "King Kong Exercise."

Reason for Maintenance: The previous tank had been in service for nearly 14 years. Upon inspection, severe internal corrosion was found. Flaking rust frequently caused blockages in the fuel lines, significantly compromising the vehicle's reliability.

Solution & Results: To solve this issue once and for all and enhance durability, we decided to forgo the traditional steel tank in favor of a custom-made stainless steel fuel tank. The installation was successfully completed today (Dec 7, 2025). This upgrade has completely eliminated the risk of fuel line clogging, restoring smooth fuel flow to this WWII veteran. We are confident that this GPW is now ready to journey with us for many more miles to come!
