民國29年(主曆1940年)，編號307號 蕾柏蒂小姐，德國 37型 150公分防空探照燈含 Sd.Ah. 104特種拖車，兩日作業操演
蕾小姐在民國110年(主曆2021年)芬蘭雪季前離開赫爾辛基 沃薩里港 (Helsinki-Vuosaari harbour)遠赴新家，加入了我的幽靈部隊。為了重新點亮這顆83歲的大眼睛，耗時1年的準備，局部翻修、檢查、技令中文化...，即使做了這些看似周全的準備，在這兩天的作業中依然困難重重，繁雜的作業程序，能讓她正常運作，真不是普通人可以做的簡單事，當年國軍的德式防砲部隊都是聰明人。
活的博物館，亞洲第一燈，就是那個光，終於亮了起來⋯⋯
《Director’s note: One Billion Candela air raid exercise NO.1》
The 1940 German Anti Aircraft Searchlight “Flakscheinwerfer 150cm 37 (i.e. Miss Liberty, NO. 307) with Sonderanhänger 104 (Sd.Ah.104 trailer)” in two-day operation exercise.
Miss Liberty left Vuosaari harbour, Helsinki for her distant new home and joined our ghost troops before Finland’s snow season in 2021. We’ve spent the past whole year working on partial rebuild, inspection/maintenance, and the traditional Chinese version of TM…etc.. before relighting this “Big Eye” of 83-years-old. In spite of seemingly well preparation, we still faced with a sea of troubles in the past two days. It’s totally not as easy as pie for an ordinary man to operate the miscellaneous procedure and make it function normally. Truly the German-trained air defense artillery of the R. O. C. military then was comprised of smart guys.
Miss Liberty, the living museum, the lamp king in Asia…and the Light has finally been lightened up.
